Hello,
I'm excited to announce that I have committed to riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge this summer. This will be my 4th PMC ride, my first one was back in 2020 when my Mom was battling breast cancer. As many of you know, she lost her battle a few weeks after that ride. I can't believe it’s been 4 years since my Mom passed away, she is missed terribly by us all and not a day goes by I don't think of her. Cancer affects all of us, leaving a trail of destruction and tragedy that leaves a hole in our hearts forever.
This August, I will be riding in memory of my Mom, Theresa, and in honor of my family and friends who are currently fighting cancer. Since 1980 the Pan-Mass Challenge has raised $972 million for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 100 percent of every dollar raised through donations goes directly to Dana-Farber. My fundraising goal this year is $4,000. I am here once again to ask that if you can help by donating to my ride I would be so grateful. Any donation, no matter the amount will help me reach my fundrasing goal. Since my first PMC ride back in 2020, with your help, we have raised almost $9,000!
The route I have signed up for is the Wellsely (Babson College) to Bourne (Mass Maritime Academy) 90 miles, Saturday, August 3rd. I have plenty of work ahead getting back in shape for this kind of ride but I am looking forward to it. Thank you all for your continued support in this fight against cancer.
