PMC- 2020? Yup.. We WILL ride!
I hope that you are well...and staying healthy. Thankfully, all is still well in the Vossler family world.
As a past and loyal supporter, I wanted to let you know that The Pan Mass Challenge will not take place this August on account of COVID-19 safety concerns. (At least in its traditional format). This will be the first time in 11 years that I will not be making the trek to Provincetown, MA on my bike with my sister-in-law, family and friends.
Lung cancer does not take a break on account of a global pandemic, or social unrest. There is still great need for lung cancer research, and at places like the Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology at Dana Farber. I will still be riding for Team LungStrong during the 1st weekend of August to participate in the PMC “re-imagined”. My route is a work in progress. I will likely be riding alone, and I do not know if a full 192 miles are in the cards. But- I will ride for Dana Farber, lung cancer research and my incredible sister-in law, Diane Legg.
If you are motivated, and if you can, please consider making a donation to the PMC to support my 2020 re-imagined ride. If a donation is not in the cards this year, please know how much we appreciate your past support and, hopefully, we will connect again in 2021 to support Team LungStrong, the PMC and Dana Farber.
