Each year there is a new reason to ride and raise money for cancer research. Each year a new person is affected by this horrible disease. In December 2023, my best friend Lauren’s 4 year old son, Owen, was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and has been receiving treatment at Boston Children's hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

This August I will ride in my 6th Pan Mass Challenge, a two day 162-mile bike ride from Wellesley to Provincetown, to raise money for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This year I will ride for Owen Noonan and the Noonan family. Their strength and bravery through this journey has been admirable. I also ride for my Mom who has been battling Multiple Myeloma since 2006 and currently receiving treatment at MGH. Her strength and perseverance inspire me every day. I ride as a tribute to all of those who are currently battling cancer, in remission, and in memory of those who have lost their battle to cancer, especially my father in law, Big Leo, my Godfather Peter Muse and countless more friends and family members.

The PMC gives me hope to bring us one step closer to finding a cure.
