Friends and Family,

Normally, I would've had this email out to all of you much sooner -- and I'd probably have badgered more than a few of you with some joking/not joking taunts about cancer not being able to cure itself... or make sure to back up the Brinks truck. As you know, over the past 9 years I've ridden in the PMC honor of friends and their families that have been greatly affected by cancer. This year, my brother Jake, my uncle Pete, my great friend Brian and I will be riding for two people that are awfully special to us -- my mom Claire, who was has been batting breast and bone cancer for the last two years -- and my  aunt Debbie, who was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma. While mom and Debbie are incredibly loving, funny and compassionate women, they're also both incredibly determined people that are fighting their cancer diagnosisis head-on with the sort of grace and bravery that is honestly difficult to put into words.

I know that these sorts donation requests can become cumbersome -- and times are tough for many, so please only donate what you can -- and if you're unable to donate, know that I completely understand.
