Why I Ride ...
I can't believe this will be my 23rd PMC. I never thought I would embrace cycling as an alternative to skiing. The last twentythree years has taught me so much about myself. My wife Joy has been a constant supporter of me and my Thirteen soon to be Fourteen year old son Michael only knows a life with the first weekend in August is the time mom, dad and all their crazy friends ride bikes to raise money for Dana Farber.
I will raising money to honor my late mother Ellen M. Leotsakos. As many of you know, she has battled cancer on several occasions in the last 30 years. She has been and will continue to be an inspiration to me and everyone in her life that she has touched. On June 22nd 2017 my dear mother Ellen M. Leotsakos passed away.
In order to participate in the PMC, I must raise $6,000 by August 2nd & 3rd. However, my personal goal is to raise $11,000. Your donation is tax-deductible and any amount will be greatly appreciated. Please make checks payable to PMC-Jimmy Fund. The money that I raise for the PMC will directly benefit Cancer Research.
