My sister-in-law, Hilary Olsen, passed away in November 2018 after a remakably courageous and inspiring 10 year battle with breast cancer that metastized into her liver. In her memory I am riding in this year's Pan Mass Challenge in support of the Hilary J. Olsen Fund for Metastatic Breast Cancer Research that is allowing some incredibly talented doctors and researchers at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute to continure research into finding a cure for this type of cancer. There is no doubt in my mind that the amazing group of doctors at the Dana allowed Hilary to live and enjoy life for much longer than she might have a generation ago due to all the progress they have made in fighting this disease, but they will tell you that there is much more they want to do. I feel honored and inspired to ride in the memory of my sister-in-law and all the other brave women who have fought and continue to fight this terrible disease.
