Fast forward a year, and although now cancer free, I visit my oncologist every three months. During these quarterly visits, I cannot help but feel pangs of guilt relative to those in the waiting room, empathizing with the uncertainty that they face. As such, I am back training again with a renewed determination to help those whose future remains in question.
I ride in memory of Grandma, Grampy, Marie, Debbie, Michael M. and all who have lost their battles. And in honor of my family and friends who have benefited and survived because of research.
A cure is close at hand and research is the key – thank you in advance for your support.
