Riding in Memory of Dick and with Hope for a Cure

Dear Family and Friends,

I’m honored to be riding once again with Team Goodwin in the Pan-Mass Challenge, raising critical funds for cancer research and treatment.

Over the past seven years, I’ve lost dear friends to this disease, and I’ve stood beside others who’ve endured the unimaginable loss of a child. I ride because I miss Beth, Cheryl, and Carol. I ride because 7-year-old Sydney, 25-year-old Allie, and 27-year-old Kelsey should still be here. I ride because no parent should ever have to grieve a child lost to cancer.

I also ride to celebrate the survivors—those who are here today thanks to groundbreaking treatments made possible by the millions raised through the PMC. And this year, I ride in memory of my wonderful brother-in-law, Dick, whom we sadly lost in February. His strength and kindness continue to inspire me.

Last year, we made history as the Pan-Mass Challenge surpassed $1 billion raised for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. But with federal funding for cancer research increasingly uncertain, every dollar we raise this year matters more than ever.

No donation is too small—every gift brings us closer to a world without cancer. Thank you, as always, for your love, support, and generosity.
