Someone once told me advice and opinions are ok but if you want to make a point or have your message really hit home personal experience is what truly resonates with people.

This will be my 5th year doing the PMC ride and as most of you know my story about the great care I received at Dana Farber literally saved my life. Recently I was in Florida visiting my 7 year old granddaughter who asked an interesting question coming from such a young lady. Pups( which is what she calls me) ? You were almost a goner, right? Right out of the blue! My response was , You could say that, Casey. Another example of there are no coincidences. Out of the mouths of babes! Can't get anymore personal than that! I had already decided to ride remotely with a few Goose Neck Riders Bob Power and Kevin McGovern over on Martha's Vineyard in June before that question was asked. The day of the ride I will think of my granddaughter's words and be grateful for all the effort and donations that have come from my network to fight and find a cure for cancer over these past 5-6 years.
