Thank you so much for your support! This year due to COVID-19 the Pan-Mass Challenge (which typically brings together 5000+ riders in August) will be reimagined and ridden virtually. I am committed to riding the 190 miles over the course of the summer - let me know if you'd like to join me for a ride!
Though much has changed this year and many people's personal economic situations have been impacted, which may in turn limit their ability to donate to charitable causes, some things have not changed. Dana Farber still counts on the annual donation from the PMC to perform life-saving cancer research and care. The PMC’s donation (which last year was $63M) typically accounts for over half of Dana Farber’s total budget.
Here's some good news. While eliminating cancer entirely is the ultimate goal, the funds at Dana Farber are being used now on patients to enable earlier detection and to provide targeted treatments that provide hope and lengthen lives today for many. Here is just one example. Here's some more good news: 100% of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to Dana Farber.
You may make a donation online by clicking on the red make a donation button on the right hand side of this page, or if you prefer, you may make a check payable to the “Pan-Mass Challenge” and include my donor ID (CE0068) in the memo field. Checks can be mailed to: The PMC, 77 4th Avenue, Needham, MA 02494
Many, many thanks to you all!
Caroline
The Pan-Mass Challenge is an annual bike-a-thon and a pioneer of the athletic fundraising industry that today raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country. The organization was founded in 1980 and donates 100% of every rider-raised dollar directly to the cause.
