This year, I’m biking in the Pan-Mass Challenge with a full heart and a personal mission.

In April, our family received news no one ever expects: my 6-year-old niece CeCe had developed a tumor on her spinal cord. She underwent a major and complex surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital, and thanks to the world-class care she received, she has a strong prognosis and is on the road to recovery.

CeCe’s courage—and the incredible care she received—brought home a truth that now fuels every mile of my ride: we need to keep pushing for better treatments, better outcomes, and ultimately, cures. The only way to do that is through continued research, innovation, and support for families navigating the unthinkable.

That’s why I’m proud to ride for the Jimmy Fund—an organization that ensures 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber. This isn’t just a good cause—it’s a vital lifeline for kids like CeCe, and for families like mine.
