This year, I am riding the PMC in honor of my brother, R. Logan Dunne, who passed away in January 2013 after a 5-year journey with neuroblastoma. After his diagnosis, my family started our own cheering section for the PMC in our hometown of Truro, MA. We spent years cheering for the PMC riders, and it was always the highlight of the summer. It gave our family so much joy and hope.
I ride in the PMC for my brother, and all our family, friends, and neighbors whose lives have been touched by cancer.
I am also riding to support the groundbreaking research and extraordinary care given by the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, with the hope that we will continue to improve outcomes for cancer patients.
I plan to ride in my own personal reimagined PMC this fall. Cancer doesn't take the year off, so neither can we!
