When I was in 6th grade my cousin Molly was diagnosed with leukemia. It was a rude awakening, she was only in the 6th grade. I can remember going in and visiting her in Children's Hospital and the Jimmy Fund. Seeing what she had to go through at 10 years old made me want to help her and all of the kids fighting cancer. My Uncle Ted, Molly's dad, created a team of family members to ride the Pan Mass Challenge in Molly's name. This will be my second year riding and I couldn't be more motivated to kick cancer in the butt!!! This is a very important year because I will be riding for the beautiful Cathleen Lawler (Lula) who was unfortunately just diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I see her as a second mom and she is an inspiration to me and many others. My hope is that someday we will have enough money and technology to find a cure so that no one has to go through what Molly went through and what Lula is going through. Thank you for supporting me and my team!
