A Half Million Reasons to Support the Fight Against Cancer

The Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) has been a cause close to my heart for the past two decades. This year, with your incredible support, I'll be achieving a personal milestone – crossing the half-million-dollar mark in fundraising for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute!

This achievement wouldn't be possible without the generosity of friends like you. Together, we're making a real difference in the fight against cancer. Did you know:

• Every 2 minutes, someone in the US is diagnosed with cancer.

• An estimated 1.9 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed in the US this year alone.

• 1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.

• Thanks to advancements in research and treatment, the five-year relative survival rate for all cancers combined has risen to over 90% for certain types.

The PMC is a vital force in this fight. This year, they're projected to reach a historic $1 billion raised since the event's inception in 1980. That's a billion dollars directly funding life-saving research and treatment at Dana-Farber.

This year, for my 20th PMC, I'll be riding the 163-mile route from Wellesley, MA to Provincetown on August 3-4.
