I was only six when my mother died of cancer, changing forever the story of my life and my family.

I have supported other riders in the Pan-Mass Challenge in prior years, but with the encouragement of my husband and the support of my work, Year Up, I decided to set a personal and community goal of riding almost 190 miles over 2 days in the PMC this year. I am riding in support of my mother and far too many loved ones who have be touched by cancer. Donny and I are riding to challenge ourselves to meet the physical and the fundraising goals of the Pan-Mass Challenge.

Together, Donny and I hope to raise at least $10,000. We will be pooling our contributions to attain that goal, so please, if you can, donate to one or both of us. It will all be going to the same great cause and will motivate us both to achieve our goal.

We ride to find a cure for cancer, for the Pan-Mass Challenge, for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, for our family and friends who have and will have to endure their own fight with cancer and for our own personal challlenge.
