Courage is the ability to do something that frightens one. Strength in the face of pain or grief. Cancer fighters are some of the most courageous people to walk this earth.

This year I am riding for Anne Matuszczak and the entire Matuszczak family. The strength and courage they've shown during the most trying time of their lives is inspiring. Lauren, I am so proud to call you my friend.

I also ride for my grandfather, Bert Alben, who lost his battle to Melanoma in 2013.

I ride for the entire medical team at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The professionalism, and compassion they show to each and every patient is the best in the world. They gave an extra year (+) of life to my grandfather and Mrs. M, and we are forever grateful for that.

I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. Together, lets make cancer a disease of the past
