Why I Ride ...
I'm riding in memory of Dad this year as well as in support of my childhood friend Barb, my friend Heather's sister Jen and so many others impacted by cancer. I'll ride also ride again this year in memory of my dearest friend, big sister, hair cutter and partner in grocery store foolishness, Vinni Marie Malone. I also always hold in my heart Charles Foley, George Aslanian, Barbara Cernohlavek, Vinnie Ciliberto, Janet Keneally, Annmarie Andrews, June Fillipone and so many others who fought the good fight.
I know with the continued efforts of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund we will win. We will beat cancer! Closer by the Mile!
Thank you always to my generous sponsors, you are the tailwinds, the downhills, the cowbells and the bagpipers on roadways along the course who pull me along.
