Why I continue to ride and raise $'s for the PMC
Dear Friends,
I first started riding 26 years ago after my wife Julie started the year prior and we dedicated the ride to her father who passed from lung cancer. Both of us have continued to ride for the PMC as we see the great progress in cancer research and treatments.
Each year, the PMC feels like punctuation mark on my summer experience- inspiring me to get into good physical shape, exciting me to be with my great biking team friends and most importantly make an impact for our global community as needed by each individual facing cancer.
The 2024 ride was great. A tad hot for the last 30 miles on Saturday and fatiqued for the last 10 miles through the dunes of Provincetown. But I was happy with my 18mph pace and any discomforts pushed aside knowing cancer treatment for most is much more challenging.
To those considering support, my humble request to help and to my sponsors....my very gracious thanks!!
Bob
