WHY I PMC
To my friends, clients, family and colleagues:
This year I humbly and gratefully celebrate my 6th year of being cancer free thanks to the care I have received from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
I participate in the Pan-Mass Challenge, a 2-day, 165 mile bike ride across Massachusetts to raise money to support the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s cancer research and treatment programs. This will be my second year riding with my brother, my niece and Team Goodwin. Last year was overwhelmingly emotional - seeing those whose lives the research has impacted - those who have had it much tougher than I have had it. As living proof, this ride allows me to show my gratitude.
For those who are not familiar with the PMC, it is an annual ride to raise money for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. The PMC generates more than half of the Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue and is Dana-Farber’s single largest contributor. 100% of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to cancer research and care. Since its founding, the PMC has raised close to $900 million, and Team Goodwin has raised over $2 million through the generosity of our supporters.
To those of you receiving this appeal who have already contributed, whether in support of my ride or someone else, thank you. To those of you who have not yet contributed, please consider doing so. Your generosity has a meaningful impact.
PMC donations are tax deductible. The PMC's tax ID / EIN is 04-2746912.
Thank you in advance for your support!
