When I began riding the PanMass Challenge in 2019, I had no idea it would become and annual event. The ride and experience quickly became one of the highlights of my summer. This year, I ride in my sixth PMC and it will be a very special year for Dana Farber and the PMC. Due to everyone's generosity year after year, the PMC is projected to cross the One Billion dollar threshold in rider-raised funds. One BILLION, with a B!! It's hard to comprehend a number that large and to think it is all due to one rider at a time raising awareness and an extremely supportive family and friends network to donate towards the cause.
Dollar by dollar, those donations have gone directly to programs that support patients, families, and care providers at Dana-Farber and beyond. While more funding is still needed to ultimately reach our goal of curing cancer, 2024 is a year to be extremely proud of and I thank each and every one that has donated in any capacity towards this cause. I am hoping you all want to be a part of reaching that one billion and will support my ride.
As I train and ride this year, I will carry the names of those friends and family who have lost their battle to cancer, those bravely battling the disease, and will remain optimistic that someday this ride will be a celebration of the day we found a cure.
With your generosity we can help Dana Farber provide resources, research, treatments and hope to those that battle cancer. Please consider donating to my ride. 100% of rider raised funds go directly to programs that help patients and their families.
Thanks friends,
Brian
