After one cancelled attempt in 2020 (thanks, pandemic!) I'll finally be riding the PMC this year alongside my dad! This summer marks 10 years since I lost my mom to ovarian cancer, and I'm looking forward to celebrating her life and memory throughout this experience.

It seems impossible to concisely summarize all of the reasons I am choosing to ride. For my Auntie Mel, Uncle Steve, and Grammy, survivors that I am so thankful to call my family. For both of my grandfathers, who I love so deeply, that passed away from cancer. For my Auntie Sharon- the woman who taught me to grow tomatoes, to love animals, and to make oatmeal cookies. For my mom- my favorite person in the world- that I miss every single day.

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has been an invaluable resource in the fight against cancer for my family, the state of Massachusetts, and the world. I am riding to make a small contribution to their efforts, with the belief that working together, we can eradicate cancer once and for all.
