I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. This is my eighth year riding for a cause and it is inspiring! This year is definitely be rewarding as I am riding the full course with my friend Kathy Carlson, Sturbridge MA to Providence Town RI over 2 days for a total of 192 miles!!!!

Cancer has touched our family too many times. Our son, Nathan, is a cancer survivor from Neuroblastoma. He was diagnosed at 7 months old, now he's a 25 year old college graduate from Florida Institute of Technology. Also our college best friends' of ours daughter has battled and beaten Ewing's Sarcoma. I ride for family & friends and the hope that work towards eliminating cancer. We know that cancer isn't picky about who it choses to tackle: young or old, mothers & fathers, friends or family. It just isn't fair or kind!

Cancer is everyone's worst nightmare. I ride to support those who endure, those who didn't survive and those to come. My hope is that the amazing institutions such as Dana-Farber and the Floating Children's hospital continue developing treatments to survive and find a cures for all types of cancer.
