Dear Family & Friends,
I am happy to say that I will be riding in my 15th PMC on August 5th and 6th. This year, I will not be riding the traditional two day route from Sturbridge to Provincetown but I will be riding my own route as a “Virtual Rider.”
I hope to participate in the “Day-0” ride from the Massachusetts/New York state line to Sturbridge on August 4th. I will be riding locally on August 5th and 6th in support of my commitments of logging 300+ miles and fundraising to support the patients, researchers, doctors, and nurses at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
In 2022 the PMC donated a record $69 Million to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute continuing to fund cancer research, clinical trials and patient care. Thanks to your generosity, I’ve raised more than $149K over my 14 years riding and hope to raise another $5K this year, contributing to the PMC’s overall goal of $73 Million. One hundred percent of rider donations pass directly through to Dana-Farber.
I know you have many choices when it comes to making charitable donations and I’m grateful for your consideration and support. If you’d like to learn more about my ride you can visit: http://www.pmc.org/profile/BN0036. Donations can be made online or checks can be made payable to: PMC, Jimmy Fund, DFCI (or any combination of the three) and mailed to me at: Brian Nelson, 43 Wood Terrace, Framingham, MA 01702.
Thank you for your continued support.
Brian Nelson
