Dear Friends,
Last year, I rode the Pan-Mass Challenge for Julia. This year, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be riding with her. Though still undergoing treatment for breast cancer at Dana-Farber, Julia has been cleared by her care team and is strong and determined enough to join us on the road. Her resilience—and the cutting-edge targeted therapies and immunotherapies that have made this possible—fill me with awe and gratitude.
We’re also honored to have TJ Ragnoni, our longtime Pedal Partner, riding alongside us this year as a new Fidelity colleague and recent Notre Dame graduate. Just a few weeks ago, Shaun and I heard from his oncologist, Dr. Mimi Bandopadhayay, co-leader of Dana-Farber’s Low-Grade Glioma Program. She spoke about the direct impact of PMC donations, calling them “essential” in the development of Ojemda—the first-ever systemic therapy for BRAF-rearranged pediatric low-grade gliomas. “This drug would 100% not have happened without the PMC,” she said.
In addition to Julia, I’m dedicating this year’s ride to my dear friend and Fidelity colleague, Danah Al-Husaini, who has recently begun her own cancer journey and is also receiving care at Dana-Farber.
Your support means the world. Every dollar brings us closer to a cure—and in the meantime, helps give people like Julia, TJ, and Danah more time, more joy, and more life.
Thank you for riding with me in spirit and for standing with those we love.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Beth
