I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
Even though I won't be on the Cape at the begining of August this summer, I am still dedicating miles I ride towards the PMC mission. I will continue to enjoy rides around my home base of Williamstown, MA, where there is gravel galore and plenty of climbing to be done. I enjoy these rides with my friends and colleagues, and welcome anybody to come join me!
More than that, though, I ride for every person who has been affected by cancer in my life. I ride for my mom, Liz, who battled through Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma when I was born, my dad, Chuck, who had a brief stint with melanoma, my Aunt Gerry who lived her life always with a smile, my uncle Austin, and so many others in my life. These people and all of the staff at Dana-Farber show strengh, courage, determination, and commitment every time they choose to battle and overcome cancer. Most of all, I ride for the one goal of bringing us Closer By the Mile to finding a cure for cancer! Any small donation amount helps.
Thank you,
Beth Larcom
