This August, I’m riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) once again to raise money for cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I’ll be doing the 1-day, 85-mile route—a challenge I’m proud to take on for a cause that affects far too many of us.

As a data analyst, I’m struck by the numbers: approximately 40% of adults will develop cancer sometime in their lifetime—an overwhelming statistic that touches every family, including mine. That’s why I ride: to help change those odds.

What makes the PMC unique is that 100% of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to Dana-Farber via the Jimmy Fund. No overhead. Just impact.
