Dear Friends-
On August 3rd and 4th, I will be riding my 12th PanMass Challenge, 175 miles from Wellesley to Provincetown to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. This will be my 2nd year riding with Team Ovarian Cancer. My personal commitment is to raise $10,000.
Reflecting on my years of riding, I think of hot sweltering days, drying out shoes after rain-soaked rides, and, most importantly, riding alongside thousands united by a single purpose—to cure cancer in our lifetime.
Cancer is relentless, showing no favorites and taking no prisoners. That’s why I’m reaching out to you. I ride for a long list of friends and loved ones, having beaten cancer, living with cancer, and for those who lost their battle. I ride so that everyone diagnosed with cancer can hear the words, You will be cured.
The PMC raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country—$972 million since 1980 and a record $72 million in 2023 alone! In 2024, the PMC is set to cross a monumental $1 billion in cumulative fundraising for Dana-Farber. This incredible success is a testament to the dedication of so many who ride and care deeply about finding a cure.
