Dear Friends and Family,
On August 2nd and 3rd I will join over 6,000 cyclists in the 202 Pan Mass Challenge, an annual bike-a-thon that raises money for research on the treatment and eventual cure of cancer at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. This will be my 9th year riding the PMC. I will be riding 187 miles from Sturbridge in central Massachusetts to Provincetown on the tip of Cape Cod. It’s a privilege to ride the PMC and to help the patients, nurses, doctors, and researchers who have joined together in the battle against this disease.
The PMC (www.pmc.org) raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country, $972 Million since 1980 and a record $72 million in 2023. 100% of your donation goes directly to helping the fight against cancer.
Cancer has affected my family and the families of many friends. As tough as it’s been to see loved ones fight this disease, I have seen the advancement in treatments, enabled in part by the support of PMC, that I know will eventually lead to a cure.
