Dear Friends and Family,
On August 2nd and 3rd I will join over 6,000 cyclists in the 2025 Pan Mass Challenge, an annual bike-a-thon that raises money for research on the treatment and eventual cure of cancer at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. This will be my 9th year riding the PMC. Maria and I will be riding our tandem 187 miles from Sturbridge in central Massachusetts to Provincetown on the tip of Cape Cod. It’s a privilege to ride the PMC and to help the patients, nurses, doctors, and researchers who have joined together in the battle against this disease.
The PMC (www.pmc.org) raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country, $1.047 Billion since 1980 and a record $75 million in 2024. 100% of your donation goes directly to helping the fight against cancer.
Maria and I ride in memory of relatives and friends that have lost their battle with cancer, and in support of those courageously fighting the disease. In the face of government funding cuts, we worry that the speed of research, treatments, and cures may be affected. This makes the relationship of the PMC with Dana-Farber even more crucial.
If you are interested in helping me support Dana Farber’s fight against cancer, there are several very easy ways to donate. No donation is too big or too small. Every bit helps.
If you would like to donate online, securely, you can use the following link: http://pmc.org/egifts/BD0192 . My Raytheon friends will be able to take advantage of RTX matching gifts by following a different process, look for an email from me.
If you would prefer to write a check, you can make it payable to PMC/Jimmy Fund and send it to:

Many companies have a donation matching policy. PMC donations are tax deductible and 100% will go to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The Pan-Mass Challenge only uses your personal information to Thank You and will not share it with any other organizations
Thanks in advance for your support in the fight against cancer.
