Why I Ride ...
Hello everyone,This weekend I will be riding in the Pan Mass Challenge (A 200 mi. bike ride from Sturbridge to Provincetown). This will be my 22nd year riding in the PMC.
I began riding in the PMC in 2001, when I lost my best friend to leukemia. Since then I have done the best thing that I know how, which, is to peddle and raise money for cancer research.
The PMC has raised $900 million for adult and pediatric care and research at Dana Farber through the Jimmy Fund. The event donated 100% of every rider raised dollar directly to the cause. In 2012, the PMC generated 52% of the Jimmy Funds annual revenue and was Dana Farber's single largest contributor. This year my goal is to raise $12,000. Since I began riding in 2001, with your support, I have raised $95,000. Once again, I am asking for your support, any donation is greatly appreciated!!!
