Last year was such an amazing experience that I have decided to ride in my 2nd PMC ride this year. I couldn’t be prouder as I will be riding for my friend Alex Young who has made great strides in his fight against cancer as well as my best friend, Peter Aiello.

Alex is 10 years old and has a high-grade ependymoma gliomas of the spine which he has been fighting since he was 4 years old. Alex has endured 3 surgeries, radiation, immunotherapy, and IV Chemo for the past year as well as a regimen of several oral chemo medications daily. Alex continues to amaze me with his engaging personality, an unyielding amount of energy that radiates to everyone he meets and touches. My best friend Peter was diagnosed with glioblastoma in mid-August 2023 not too long after my first PMC. He was there for me in Wareham as he cheered me on along the route and now I am here for him. He has had chemotherapy as well as radiation which has controlled the growth of the cancer. Peter continues to fight each day with the support of his family and friends. Together with your help, we will beat this cancer for Peter, Alex, as well as the many thousands that are impacted every day.
