To all my wonderful supporters: Welcome back!
If you are here for the first time, thank you! I am so grateful to all who contribute to cancer research and clinical care.
Why do I ride every year?
I ride in memory of my mother, Sybil Ann Brennan. She received exceptional care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute after a truly horrific experience with Lymphoma. With a dismal initial prognosis, she participated in multiple research studies selflessly reiterating that 'if you can learn something from me, please do so.' One study had groundbreaking positive results and actually changed the course of cancer care worldwide for her type of malignancy! It was a collaboration between Dana-Farber and Memorial Sloan Kettering. I'm thankful she enrolled; she certainly taught us somthing!
I ride convinced that I make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. I ride to fund life-saving research. I ride to cultivate myself and affirm my commitment to improved clinical care beyond my role as a physician. I ride because I still can, while so many are not able to do so. I'm grateful to be a part of something so meaningful.
The Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC) is leading a charge against cancer. All revenue directly supports Dana-Farber’s determination to improve cancer treatment. Thank you for supporting me!
