As a young child I was exposed to cancer early, watching my father deal with a recurrent brain tumor. Because of the cancer care he received, the 6 months he was intially given around the time of my birth turned into 12 years. I was able to have time with him, see the man he was, and learn what it meant to persevere as a father, a physician, and a husband. As a father, physician and husband myself, I now get to live these memories for myself.

Inspired by my brother-in-law Vin who has been riding for years, I am clicking in this year to help support the cause, as a young child who benefited from Oncology advances, who is now a surgeon who treats head and neck cancer. I want my kids to see what is possible when we come together, what you can achieve when you work hard towards a goal. Let's go!
