I ride for my family.

The Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute have personally helped my family fight cancer for the last year. While there, I have met families who have come from all over this country to stay short-term and long-term in apartments and hotels in Boston, in order to access the best possible medical treatment for their family members. I have seen children fight with courage and strength that many adults don't have. I have seen nurses do the impossible, and then show up the next day to do it again. Doctors who make the after hour calls and therapists who send support groups or assistance because they personally think of you as someone who may benefit from those resources.

The Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber support families in ways that we don't think of, including therapy, pain management, physical therapy, meal stipends, transportation, direct care, and vital research. 100 percent of the proceeds from the PMC ride go directly to the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to help families with care and cancer research.
