Why I Ride ...
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
Why do I ride? I ride for my dear husband, Roger Steinert, who lost his courageous battle to glioblastoma in 2017; I ride for those who, at this very minute, are bravely struggling to remain healthy and gain one more precious day with us. I ride for the countless others who cannot. And because I can.
Maybe you have a loved one who is right now in a fight for their lives against the scourge of cancer. Sadly, this terrible disease has once again impacted my family, and a person we care deeply for has been recently diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer and is now under hospice care. It's an all too familiar story. Just think of the impact we could make with more research dollars for treating this terrible disease. If we ALL chip in just a few dollars (no amount is too small!!) to support the objective of eradicating this dreaded diagnosis, we would all breathe a massive sigh of relief. Won't you please take a moment and donate today? It could save your or a loved one's life someday.
