I ride in honor of my mom and in memory of my Uncle Lu. This year provided picture-perfect weather, cheers from cancer surviors of all ages along the route, and the love and support of family and friends that pushed me toward the finish -- resulting in another unforgettable and uplifting experience.

This event provides a unique opportunity to recognize my mom's courageous fight and her caretakers at Dana-Farber, where she received treatment for breast cancer eight years ago. I also ride to remember my Uncle Lu, who lost his battle with lung cancer in 2009.
