This year, I am proud to be joining a remarkable group of people coming together with the common goal of making a difference in the fight against cancer. We all know the devastating impact cancer has. Whether you have felt it personally or have supported those around you going through it, we all share a bond. With a profound dedication to raising funds and awareness for cancer research, the passionate team of organizers and riders of the Pan-Mass Challenge raised $69 million for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute last year alone. Besides raising money to support an incredible cause, I also ride for my grandfather who we lost to multiple myeloma in 2010, my boyfriend's father who is successfully being treated for the same disease over the past 10 years since being diagnosed, and for my close friends mother who has also been making outstanding progress undergoing treatment for brain cancer over the last year.

For the next two and a half months, it will be my mission to raise $6,000. As we all know, this is a battle that cannot be fought alone.
