Why I Ride ...
Hi, On August 4th, I'm riding in the PMC. This is my 14th year riding in the PMC. My fundraising goal is $5000.00. I hope you can help me achieve this goal. This ride has become very meaningful to me. Over the years I appreciate more and more how much the Dana Farber / Jimmy Fund does for my friends and family battling this disease. This year I have chosen to ride in honor of my cousin on my mother's side of the family, Karen who has been battling cancer since 2014. My cousin on my father's side of the family, Michael who is currently fighting his battle. My girlfriend's mother, Sharon, who has battled breast cancer twice. Finally, I am riding in memory of my uncle, Ray, and in memory of my friend and classmate Matt. My classmate Matt, passed away after his courageous battle with Leukemia when we were entering our junior year of HS.
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
Thanks for your support in my ride, Adam
