Why I continue to Ride The PMC...
Thank you so much for helping in my 13th PMC Ride! Every donation is greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading! Here's my story.
In 2007, I lost my brother Elliott to complications from a brain tumor that had been successfully treated by an oncologist at Mass General Hospital 20 years prior. The 20 years he had after being given only a few months to live were an amazing gift to him and all the people who knew and loved him. His death was a reminder that cancer continues to kill even with all the advances in science and medicine. I can't get Elliott back but I can participate in the PMC and give back to the doctors and nurses who saved his life 25 years ago and continue to make amazing strides toward curing a disease that touches all of us.
Elliott was one of the most positive thinking people I've ever known and if he were alive today I know he would be impressed by the passion and commitment of all the PMC riders. I am very proud to be taking part in this year’s PMC and hope you can find it in your means to help others get the bonus time I was able to have with my brother Elliott. Thank you for considering donating your hard earned money to my ride to help cure cancer.
