Why I Ride ...
Dear Friends,
Today I've committed to raising money for cancer research by riding in the 2024 Pan-Mass Challenge! This year will be my Fifth time riding the PMC. For those who do not know, on August 29, 2007 just 3 weeks after my son Christopher's 7th Birthday, he was diagnosed with a cancer called ALL Leukemia. My wife Debra & I, along with Christopher's twin sister Emily were heart broken & devastated by the news. We were then introduced to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute & Jimmy Fund Clinic which gave us hope. Over the next 2.5 years of weekly Chemo visits to The Jimmy Fund, we realized how special The DFCI & The Jimmy Fund Clinic was and how the fundraising from the PMC has helped so many children & other patients have hope like our son. Christopher is now working at Fidelity Investments after graduating from Merrimack College and is doing well. I want to thank The Jimmy Fund Clinic including the Nurses, Doctors, & Staff for the way they treated my son and all other patients. They are very special people. I also want to thank the people who have supported the PMC in the past which has made a huge success in treating these children at Dana-Farber. So I am riding to give back to the children & all patients of The Jimmy Fund Clinic. Help me help more kids have a future like my son Christopher by using the link below and donate if you are able.
