I'm a proud supporter of the Pan Mass Challenge because it is a major contributor to cutting edge cancer research funding. Going into my second year riding in the PMC, I am extremely grateful to everyone who supported me last year. Collectively, we raised over $36,000, and we have added 6 new members this year which will double our fundraising goal.

I am humbled to ride in honor of my friend's father, who passed away from Stage 4 sarcoma in 2013. I will join him and his cousin in riding the two day route from Sturbridge to Bourne following the path that his dad rode for 17 years. In my own family, cancer has impacted many of my family members, regardless of age. I have seen firsthand how crippling a poor prognosis can be for patients and, on the other hand, how courageous these same patients are in navigating their treatment plan. I ride with Team Q in strong support of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's life changing breakthroughs.

As a first year medical student, I have had the privilege to closely study pathophysiology and management of various cancers. I am grateful that I am able to enrich my clinical training with such a vibrant community of survivors, allies, and healthcare professionals. Thank you for choosing to support my ride!
