On Saturday, August 2, I will be riding 80+ miles from Wellesley to Bourne alongside my dad, sister, brother-in-law, and close friends. I started my PMC journey raising money selling cookies and lemonade at the age of 6. In 2006, I learned how to ride a bike at the Newton- Needham PMC kids ride which my mom helped organize.
After cheering on my dad for 20+ years, and first riding in the PMC in 2018, I decided to get back on the bike to experience the challenge of raising money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and riding in honor of my loved ones who I’ve lost to the battle of cancer.
This year, I will be riding on the Bikers Dozen team. I am so excited for this experience and grateful that I am healthy and able to take part in this.
I am riding in memory of my Papa Saul, Bubbe Irma, Grandpa Jason, Auntie Sheila, Cousin David, Cousin Danny and my friends who have lost their loved ones to this awful disease.
Please consider donating to this cause. 100% of the proceeds of this ride go directly to the Dana Farber cancer institute
Thank you for supporting me in this year's Pan Mass Challenge. I would not be able to complete this ride without the help of each of you.
Let’s help find a cure together!
If you have any questions, please email me at argershkowitz@gmail.com.
With so much love,
Lexi
