This August I will be riding in my 9th Pan-Mass Challenge alongside family and friends as part of Team Duncan. Last year, Team Duncan raised over $1 million (!) for Dana-Farber thanks to your support, and we are hoping to top that this year.

It has been amazing to see the team grow over the years, now 121 riders strong! PMC weekend was always my Mom's favorite event of the year. The PMC has brought our family and friends so much closer together over the years and I can't help but think this was by my Mom's design. After she passed away from metastatic breast cancer in 2019, my brothers and I wrote the following note to donors the following year:

Of course, our shared goal is to one day cure cancer. But, we can try to quantify the near-term impact of your donation. Our Mom rode 5 PMCs, ran a 13.2-mile half marathon, walked 2 fashion runways, attended too many college family weekends to count, and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Dana-Farber through OOFOS Project Pink and her own fundraising efforts. She did all of this after being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2014. Your donations fund innovative cancer research that results in new drugs and clinical trials. Your donations allowed our Mom to live life to the fullest. They continue to allow many other patients to do the same.

My Mom's doctor and former Team Duncan Co-Captain Dr. Eric Winer has always been adamant that the funds raised from the Pan-Mass Challenge truly do make an impact. The work Dana-Farber does through its research and clinical trials helps patients to fight and live confidently each and every day. No amount is too small so I thank you for considering a contribution to our ride!
