My mom, Judy, who passed away 10/24/21 from metastasized breast cancer, was a strong believer in the Pan Mass Challenge’s (PMC) mission: to beat cancer. She was originally diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 and – thanks to advances in cancer treatments – she was able to spend another four years enjoying off-roading in her jeep, spending time with her family and grandchildren, and knitting, amongst other activities. During her treatment, she created signs to support the PMC More Cowbell team which my sister-in-law Melissa rode with. My mom and I were inspired to see the team raise so much money and ride by that summer.

This summer, I would like to support the cause by riding and fundraising to support cancer research. My hope is that the money I fundraise will help lead to a cure for cancer. I will be riding with my dad, John, and my brother, Brendan, 162 miles from Wellesley to Provincetown to raise awareness. Any donations are appreciated and will be going towards a great cause!
