Why I Ride
On August 5th & 6th I will be riding in the PMC as part of Team Wilson Farm in honor of one of it's founders Alan Wilson. Alan passed away on October 28th 2008 . Alan was a friend and mentor to me. Someone that had a positive influence in my life. Someone I still think about everyday. 15 years have passed, time does heal. Over that time through research and development a lot of positive gains have been made in the search for a cure. Healthy lifestyle literature, preventive screening, testing, medications and treatments. Treatments that have given people a better quality of life while living with the disease and in some cases cured it. However there is still alot of work to be done.
Riding a bike is easy. Losing someone you love to cancer isn't.
That is why I'm asking for your support. Anything you can afford to give will bring us one step closer to a cure.
