Why I Ride ...
TLDR: Please join me in celebrating my 3-year anniversary of being tumor-free by donating to my PMC team! We're riding 100 miles up the coast of Cape Cod in a single day – and 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in December 2021. I was lucky enough to catch it early, and even luckier to get the tumor (and my right testicle) removed quickly. What made me luckiest of all was the outpouring of love and support I received from friends and family during such an uncertain time – but I know that not everyone is as lucky as I am.
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer – especially for those who don't have the same access to quality care that I do. As I reach my 3-year anniversary of being tumor-free, I hope you'll consider celebrating by (a) donating what you can and (b) checking your testes ;)
