Ever since I was a kid, I recognized how important it is for people of all ages undergoing cancer treatment to be supported by the Jimmy Fund. The Pan-Mass is such an important event across Massachusetts and all of New England. The 2022 Pan-Mass Challenge, its 43rd annual event, featured more than 6,400 participants and raised $69 million, the single largest donation in the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's history.
This is my 2nd year riding the Pan-Mass Challenge and it is leading the charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
This year, I am riding for Team 3G alongside my dad (Rick Bailer) and my cousin (John Bailer). We are named 3G (for Gregg Fradkin - 3G’s in his name) after he was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2019. Gregg is an athletic, never smoker, all-around amazing man who is living with stage 4 Lung Cancer. Simply put, cancer is not about just one person, so for us, 3G represents the thousands of patients battling Lung Cancer, which is the leading cause of all cancer deaths worldwide.
If you are able to donate any amount, it would be much appreciated! 100% of your donation goes to cancer research!
