We have seen too many friends suffer in the past couple of years - and we have lost people that we loved.  I will ride on August 2 to do what I can to support and honor these friends who are fighting every day against cancer and what it, and the treatments, are doing to their bodies.  

And I will ride to honor the memory of Talia Castellano (Winthrop), the daughter of our (Uncle) Marc who was taken from us too soon.  This was a young woman who, in her pain, found joy and captured the attention of Ellen DeGeneres - http://youtu.be/y2eAzjEve0s .  While this video shows a brave girl, I will always hold the memory of healthier days when she and Lily would play in both our Orlando and New Jersey living rooms.
