Dear Friends and Family,

First - my sincere thanks to all of you who have supported my Pan-Mass Challenge over the last two decades!

This will be my 21st year of participation in the upcoming 2024 Pan Mass Challenge (PMC); it's for a great cause and I am really looking forward to this challenging cycling event! Cancer is an illness that has certainly touched us all and many of us have loved one's or friends who've fought and survived this debilitating disease with the help of important cancer research, medications and treatments. For others, their battle with cancer was sadly overcome by the disease itself.

Sadly, this past year has been impactful as several friends are undergoing cancer treatment, in various stages of recovery, yet overall doing well - they continue with their battles with the illness.

The mission of the Pan Mass Challenge is to raise money for the Jimmy Fund, the principle fundraising arm of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. This year's goal is to raise over $75+ Million in a single weekend event, and in 2024, the PMC will raise over 1 billion lifetime dollars since the initial ride in 1980, a banner year indeed. And note 100 percent of your donation goes directly to the Dana Farber Research Institute itself.

Over the many years of my life, I've ridden my bicycle(s) thousands of miles, training and racing during my high school and college years as a competitive bicycle racer, cycling across the U.S. in 1983 with my friend Joel, and more recently riding simply to stay healthy and fit. This year, I'll use my love of cycling to give back to such a worthy cause; the hope and fight for the elimination of cancer - I've committed to raising over $3,000.

I have always been amazed at the generosity of my friends, colleagues, and family. I would like to say a word of thanks all those that support me financially, physically, and emotionally for this worthy cause.
