Why I Ride ...
This year, on Saturday and Sunday, August 3rd and 4th, I’ll be riding in my inaugural Pan Massachusetts Challenge (PMC) to raise funds for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. I am dedicating my ride to my wife Debbie who passed away in October, 2024 from cancer (malignant melanoma). Debbie was a patient at Dana Farber for over two years. Their care made it possible for my family to share very precious time together during that time.
The PMC is a bike-a-thon founded in 1980 to raise money for lifesaving cancer research, treatment and patient care. Since its inception in 1980, PMC riders like me have raised more than $1 billion to support the innovative work of doctors, nurses and scientists in their search for cures for cancer and related diseases.
I hope you will participate in my fundraising effort by becoming a sponsor. 100% of every dollar I raise will go directly to Dana Farber. Thank you for your consideration of this request.
