Year after year, I meet inspiring, enthusiastic and determined riders, all coming together for the same cause, to once and for all BEAT CANCER. I am truly motivated by these people and especially by my team, Precision for Kids We've made tremendous progress, but there are still a ways to go in finding a CURE. That's where YOU come in!! I will always be riding in memory of my little Meghead, or better known as Meghan Duffy, who passed away at the age of 11 in September of 2007 from metastatic osteosarcoma. As Meghan’s former childhood nanny, I could never forget her courage and unforgettable humor that was and is still an inspiration for me. From lazy mornings on the couch watching what not to wear to the scorching days at Bearcroft fighting to get attention from the lifeguards, there is not a day that goes by when I dont think of her fire and determination.

I also lost my Grandfather, Walter Da or better known as WALT Prayzner to cancer. I will remember my Da to always be quite the social butterfly, bringing smiles and laughs to friends, family and strangers alike. Da lived such an active life, with his frequent visits to the boys club. It would be wrong to not give him credit for my own yearn to stay healthy and energized, especially as the years tack on.

I look forward to the challenge of the ride but know that my challenge pales in comparison to those fighting to fund a cure or those patients fighting for their lives. Thanks for contributing to the PMC.
